Features
  • Our 5.300 GM Hemispherical headed engine is big and powerful but heavy. (28 lbs heavier) than the available wedge headed engine with 5.200 bore spacing.
  • We are designing a 5.300 bore spacing engine with a wedge configuration cylinder head. We are basing the design off of our 5.000 bore spacing heads which have been very successful.
  • Our new 5.300 bore spacing wedge head will accommodate .300 larger bore and have the same wall thickness as the 5.000 B.S. application.
  • Our 5.300 bore spacing GM wedge head will come with our ultra lite CNC lightening program.
  • This head will accommodate 2.750" intake valve and 2.000" exhaust valve.
  • Head will flow 60 to 70 more CFM of air in the intake runner which will be approximately 650 / 660 cfm @ 28" water @ 1.200" lift using a 1020 superflow bench.
